What happens after I request an estimate?
Three steps: a call back, a free on-site inspection and a written estimate you can take your time with. Nothing is scheduled or signed until you say so.
1. We call you back
Within one business day, a specialist confirms your address, what you need and whether an insurance claim is involved, then books a visit at a time that suits you. After a major hailstorm, active leaks are scheduled first.
2. Free on-site inspection
We measure the roof or walls, photograph penetrations, parapets and problem areas, and check decking, flashing, attic ventilation and drainage. Then we walk you through options with real samples, from 24-gauge standing seam to metal shake and ACM wall panels.
3. Written, itemized estimate
Your price lists panels, gauge and finish, trim and flashing, tear-off, decking, permits and cleanup, usually during the same visit. Every in-home agreement includes the three-day cancellation notice Texas law requires.
Was your roof just hit by hail or high wind?
Call (469) 569-3956 instead of waiting on the form, especially if water is coming in. While you wait, take dated photos of the damage, keep receipts for any emergency tarping, and report the claim to your insurer.
Never sign an insurance check over to a contractor or pay in full up front. Texas law (HB 2102) requires every homeowner to pay their own deductible, so anyone offering to absorb it is breaking the law. Learn how our metal roof storm repair process works with your adjuster.
Which areas do you serve?
The whole Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex from our shop in Forney, across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Rockwall, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Wise, Hunt counties. That includes Forney, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco and McKinney, plus dozens of smaller towns between them. If you do not see your community on our service areas page, call anyway; if we can’t serve you well, we will say so.
What do homeowners ask before booking an estimate?
Mostly cost, timing, insurance and whether we cover their town. Here are the short answers.
Are your estimates really free?
Yes. The inspection, measurements and written estimate cost nothing and carry no obligation. The price on your estimate is the price you pay unless you choose to change the scope, and you can take as long as you need to compare it with other bids.
How long does an estimate visit take?
Plan on about an hour for a roof-only visit, and a little longer if we are also measuring wall panels, coping or gutters. Most homeowners receive their written estimate during the same visit; large whole-house projects can take a business day or two to price.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. We document storm damage with photos and measurements, meet your adjuster on site, and make sure the approved scope includes what code and the manufacturer require. We cannot promise what an insurer will pay, and Texas law makes the homeowner responsible for the deductible.
What areas of DFW do you serve?
All of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex: Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Rockwall, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Wise and Hunt counties. That covers large cities such as Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington and Plano and many smaller communities in between; see every city we serve.
What should I have ready for the visit?
If you have them, gather your insurance declarations page and any claim number, your HOA’s architectural guidelines, and dated photos of leaks or storm damage. Knowing roughly when the roof was last replaced helps too. None of it is required to get an estimate.
